STATEMENT: "RECOGNIZING CANADA-BULGARIA RELATIONS"

Honourable senators, I have the honour to rise today as the founding co-chair of the Canada-Bulgaria Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group to recognize the fiftieth anniversary of Canada-Bulgaria diplomatic relations, this year.
The parliamentary group was established during the last Parliament on November 26, 2014, and co-founded by former Member of Parliament Corneliu Chisu.
