July 26, 2012 Korean War Veterans Armistice Day ceremonies to be held at the Korea Veterans Wall of Remembrance in Brampton, Ontario

 

Following the Friday, July 27 ceremony at the Wall of Remembrance in Brampton, Ontario, a progress print of the Veterans Commemorative Painting will be unveiled to some 500 veterans and their guests at a banquet in the Mississauga Convention Centre.

The banquet has been fully reserved. It is being hosted and sponsored by the Korean Consulate General in Toronto, with funding by Korea’s Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs.

It is of note that Senator Yonah Martin, the champion of Canada's Korean War Veterans will participate in the ceremony and banquet. Immediately after the banquet she will fly to Washington, DC, to represent Canada at the United States Korean War Veterans Armistice Day Banquet that evening.
