COQUITLAM, BC – The Honourable Yonah Martin, Deputy Leader of the Opposition in the Senate held a year-end news conference following the conclusion of the 2017 fall sitting of Parliament. The Senate rose on December 14, 2017. As Deputy Leader of the Opposition in the Senate, Senator Martin played a key role throughout the fall sitting to provide leadership to the Conservative Caucus in the Senate Chamber while keeping careful watch of all items being debated, with the key aim to hold the Government of Canada to account on behalf of hard-working taxpayers.
