Vanspec (Vancouver Special Catechetical Program) Fundraising Concert
Vanspec is directed by the Daughters of Saint Mary of Providence, a congregation founded in 1881, which came into the Vancouver Archdiocese in 1981.
The Sisters at Vanspec offer Catholic catechetical instruction to children and adults who are challenged by intellectual or learning disabilities. There are special events throughout the year such as the annual Christmas party, Eucharistic celebrations, the yearly fundraiser dinner, special prayer and retreat days for instructors and parents. They also have a Parents’ Support Group.
Senator Martin was pleased to support the fundraiser and listen to the beautiful music of the Kabok Orchestra.
